Art from around the world and the modern charm of a lakeside city came into focus for international journalists in Suzhou, in China’s Jiangsu province, on Oct 13.
As part of the 2026 Belt and Road Journalists Forum field trip, international journalists visited Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art and experience its international art offerings, then explored the cultural and tourism attractions around Jinji Lake.
From cross-cultural artistic exchanges to vibrant urban spaces, the visits offered a glimpse of Suzhou’s diverse cultural life and the way tradition, creativity and modern city living come together.
