“I think it is very useful to get media to understand, to look beyond their own national and domestic horizons, and approach their reporting from a regional perspective,” Sourabh Gupta, senior fellow at the Institute for China-America Studies, told Xinhua reporters during the Asia-Pacific Media Forum in Shenzhen, China.
At the forum, 16 founding organizations from China and abroad jointly formed the Organizing Committee of the Asia-Pacific Media Partnership Program, an initiative aimed at strengthening media exchanges and cooperation across the region. Join Xinhua reporters #OnScene to hear what media professionals from across the region have to say about the role of journalism in bringing the Asia-Pacific closer together.
