We were delighted to welcome media friends from Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Comoros, Gabon and Morocco to the Jiangxi Belt and Road Journalist Station in Jiangxi, China, where we hosted the Belt and Road Journalists Forum last year. Established during the forum as the second station of its kind, it has since become a shared space within the #HomeofJournalists community where journalists can meet, learn and exchange ideas.
During the visit, the delegation learned about Jiangxi’s efforts to engage global audiences, including its multilingual communication practices and initiatives that provide journalists from around the world with opportunities to exchange ideas, collaborate and report firsthand. Our media friends spoke highly of the station’s role in connecting media professionals, encouraging dialogue and supporting cross-border news collaboration.
This year’s Belt and Road Journalists Forum will take place in Jiangsu in October. We look forward to welcoming more media friends from around the world to share experiences, build connections and tell stories together.
