The 21st century is an era of cooperation. China and Kyrgyzstan are connected by shared mountains and rivers, intertwined histories, and continuous cultural and economic exchanges that consistently bring new opportunities. In this process, Jiangxi Province plays a vital role, serving as a bridge that connects the people of our two nations.
In Jiangxi, history and innovation shine together. Its capital, Nanchang, is both an ancient city with a 2,200-year history and a modern metropolis in the truest sense. Here, relics of the Silk Road are carefully preserved: Jiujiang’s tea, since ancient times, has traveled across the oceans, reaching as far as the United Kingdom, where it was once designated for royal use. At the same time, Jiangxi is a major center for high-speed rail, aviation equipment, and advanced technologies.
Economic cooperation is the key to development. As key participants in the Belt and Road Initiative, the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway will open new trade corridors and inject fresh vitality into our respective economies. Furthermore, we can draw upon China’s experience in fields such as green energy, digital transformation, and trade and logistics.
However, the most precious assets are always the interpersonal bonds. My own experience of studying in China has transformed me into a “living bridge” for cultural communication between our two countries. Today, students from Kyrgyz are studying calligraphy in China, while our Chinese friends are delving into our national heroic epic, the Epic of Manas.
Tourism brings our hearts closer. The misty clouds of Mount Lushan inspire the poetic spirit of Kyrgyz travelers, while the blue waves of Lake Issyk-Kul captivate visitors from China. These exchanges nourish not only our economies but also our friendship.
Jiangxi Province is more than just a region in China; it stands as a shining example of how dialogue between civilizations can be transformed into pragmatic cooperation and mutual trust for win-win outcomes. Let us work hand in hand to ensure this bridge of communication stands forever!
