From my professional and personal perspective, the People’s Republic of China has been admired worldwide.
Its ability to rise again after the terrible occupation during World War II, in which nearly 35 million people died, places that country as an example of overcoming obstacles and taking control of the planet.
As a promoter of the socialist system but with an emphasis on a market economy, this Asian country is admired by all countries, especially ours, which seeks an authentic system that results in development for our country (Honduras).
We admire its ability to reduce poverty among its citizens, its infrastructure development, its trade, and its contribution to the culture of humility that, thanks to its citizens, keeps intact, creating an admirable sense of belonging.
Its foreign policy is a considerably interesting point from this perspective, as it has successfully circumvented Western diplomacy, which has clearly sought to hinder its progress. Yet its expansion of humanitarian aid and development policies to these nations is so effective and highly regarded by its beneficiaries.
For all this and more, it will be a pleasure to get up close and personal with one of the most important powers of the modern world.
