“Diversity will bring each of our differences to the foreground, but like on the Silk Road, effective communication, I believe, will usher in a golden age,” shared Eddy, a Yale graduate turned vlogger and video host dedicated to introducing the culture of Dunhuang in China’s Gansu, which is famous for being a hub on the ancient Silk Road. Speaking at a recent exchange activity for Chinese and Central and Eastern European countries reporters hosted by HomeofJournalists, Eddy highlighted how the role of media workers as cross-cultural mediators has never been more critical in our globalized, tech-driven world.
