Recently, the China-Greece Media and Think Tank Dialogue Roundtable was held in Athens, bringing together more than 30 representatives from major media outlets, think tanks and cultural institutions from both countries. Under the theme of promoting mutual learning between civilizations, participants discussed how media professionals can serve not only as recorders of the times, but also as facilitators of cultural exchange and mutual understanding through truthful, thoughtful and people-centered reporting.

After the Roundtable, Chinese and Greek journalists took part in a joint reporting activity at the Port of Piraeus. More than 20 journalists from both countries conducted on-site interviews and exchanges on topics including high-quality port development, green and digital transformation, and changes in the global shipping landscape, gaining closer insight into the achievements of the port as a flagship project of China-Greece cooperation.

From civilizational dialogue to joint reporting, the events further strengthened exchanges between Chinese and Greek media communities, while highlighting the role of journalism in fostering cultural understanding, telling stories of cooperation, and building closer connections between peoples.
