At Home of Journalists, we believe that the most powerful reporting comes from being on the ground. Recently, we were honored to co-host a media delegation from Mexico and Brazil for an immersive journey through China’s southern technology hub Shenzhen.
From the city’s humble beginnings to its current status as a global powerhouse, our global colleagues explored the “Shenzhen model” of Chinese modernization. As Jamil Cezar Chade from Brazil noted, the city’s transformation proves that “nothing is impossible” when there is a clear vision and collective will.
Through exchange meetings and firsthand observations, these storytellers witnessed a balanced approach to development where technology, environment, and humanity coexist. As they prepare to share these stories with audiences in Latin America, we are proud to have facilitated this bridge of understanding.
