The Belt and Road International Forum on Legal Services is hosted by the Belt and Road International Legal Services Association (BRILSA). The forum is designed to serve as a globally recognized, professional and multi-dimensional platform for dialogue, bringing together legal professionals from the Belt and Road partner countries including lawyers, arbitrators, commercial mediators and notaries, as well as representatives from governments, enterprises, industry associations, legal institutions, international organizations, and experts and scholars. It aims to foster mutual trust and partnership, and deepen shared understanding and insight, in order to build consensus on the rule of law, enhance legal exchange and cooperation, and promote regional common development.

Under the theme of “Innovating Legal Service Exchange and Cooperation to Support the High-Quality Development of the Belt and Road Initiative,” the forum held in 2025 gathered more than 300 professionals from 25 countries and regions. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on legal services in the context of promoting the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment under the Belt and Road Initiative, achieving substantive outcomes in building legal consensus, fostering legal mutual learning and deepening legal cooperation.

The BRILSA is an international professional organization committed to becoming a globally influential professional body in the field of legal services. It strives to promote international legal exchange and cooperation, advance the development of cross-border legal services, and deliver high-quality and efficient legal support to advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and build a community with a shared future for humanity.
