Last week, more than 120 veteran journalists gathered in Beijing for the 2026 Spring Festival Tea Gathering. Organized by Home of Journalists, the event was a heartfelt reunion dedicated especially to senior media professionals who have devoted their lives to telling China’s stories.
It was more than a festive get-together. It was a gesture of respect and care, a space for old colleagues to reconnect, share memories, and feel the warmth of our community.
With lively performances and warm conversations, the afternoon honored not only the past, but the people who shaped it.
In the Year of the Horse in Chinese calendar, Home of Journalists will continue to stand by journalists, across generations, offering connection, recognition, and a true sense of belonging.
