Last week in Guangzhou, a delegation of international journalists from 11 countries attending the 2025 Understanding China Conference stepped beyond the meeting rooms to explore the city firsthand. Their visit offered a closer look at how Guangzhou blends history with innovation, where modernization and cultural heritage coexist along today’s “Maritime Silk Road”.
