About the Belt and Road Journalists Forum

2025-04-03

The Belt & Road Journalists Network (BRJN), originally initiated by journalists organizations from countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), is a vibrant global network of leading storytellers and an influential international platform for worldwide journalists to build up mutual understanding and cooperation.

The Belt and Road Journalists Forum is one of the flagship activities of the BRJN and has been held for seven sessions since its inception in 2017. The forum consistently upholds the spirit of peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning, and mutual benefit.

Comprising two key components: field research and discussion sessions, the forum brings together journalists from around the world, fostering connections through compelling stories, valuable networking opportunities, and the latest industry insights.

The 2025 Forum will be held in Jiangxi Province, China this mid-July. Within a week’s time, you will have plenty of opportunities to explore inspiring ideas, engage in meaningful discussions with peers, and stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of journalism.
