Ricardo Ronquillo, president of the Union of Cuban Journalists, has expressed Cuba’s interest in learning from China’s media for editorial development, economic management models and AI-driven media technology. He did so at the fourth Patria International Colloquium in Havana last week. “We need to introduce the use of artificial intelligence into the country’s media system as quickly as possible,” Ronquillo said. “The experience we can assimilate from the development of AI in China and all the technological advances it has made in this field are very important to us.”
