As a preamble to this enormous commitment to analyze China’s New Perspectives, I want to mention messages from President Xi Jinping, who rightly points out that today’s world is far from calm; The world economy is experiencing growing downward pressure and global development faces multiple challenges; however, it ensures that the world is convinced of the importance of a historic movement for peace, development, cooperation and shared gains.
It is evident that the desires of the people converge on a better life, common development and prosperity. To achieve this, the Chinese president considers “As long as we remain faithful to our commitment to cooperation and common development, we will be able to obtain new achievements in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation that live up to the spirit of our era and we will create, “With our united efforts, a more promising future for humanity.”
I want to state that those of us who have had the opportunity to be in places that more than 50 years ago were the most backward areas of China, and currently register impressive development, promoted by the government of the People’s Republic of China, make it clear that these advances They are tangible evidence of the government’s aspirations to create new perspectives for the advancement and strength of the People’s Republic of China.
The opportunity provided by the All China Journalists Association, which rightly formed the Belt and Road Journalists Platform, has allowed hundreds of journalists from different parts of the world to learn and experience, in first person, the history, dynamism and strength of a people that fights to achieve better life options supported by government interest in order to achieve a moderately prosperous society.
Being present at transcendental events and important meetings, in emblematic cities of the great Asian nation, allows us to ensure that each of the spaces visited has left unprecedented experiences, which in addition to enriching knowledge, capture unforgettable memories.
In this sense, it is vital to highlight the agreement between the Club Primera Plana de México (CPP) and the ACJA, which dates back more than four decades and has been an important factor for mutual journalistic knowledge, in both cases it is a mix of delving into both the historical as witnessing the development achieved by the two nations, it is clear that lagging areas of China – 50 years ago – currently show the importance and dynamism that its government has assigned to vital social aspects: among them education and training of the regional population, among other valuable actions, with which they have managed to overcome extreme poverty, directing their people towards a moderately stable society.
It is clear that the exchange policies and the creation of the Platform promoted by the All China Journalists Association have a high sense of collaboration and consolidate the goal of increasing mutual understanding and friendship among communicators from more than 100 countries.
The forum for Belt and Road journalism organizations is a mechanism for standardized exchange and cooperation with concrete content, which seeks for communicator leaders to negotiate and develop cooperation projects and promote joint activities. Furthermore, it is an instrument that seeks to consolidate President Xi Jinping’s international cooperation initiative, to turn it into a route of peace, prosperity, openness, innovation and civilization.
It is evident that bilateral cooperation has broad prospects. China and Latin America are at the same stage of development, share progress interests and have high complementarity in cooperation. The two sides can take advantage of the Belt and Road platform to tighten their policy coordination, align their development strategies and deepen pragmatic cooperation, so as to generate more development results and dividends for themselves and their people.
By returning to the topic of knowledge acquired during various trips to China, which in addition to having a positive impact, enrich the point of view on development perspectives, infrastructure, agriculture, education, technological advances, and environmental protection, among other vitally important topics such as In Beijing, the largest airport in the world is located, an ultra-modern starfish-shaped infrastructure terminal south of the capital, which will operate at full capacity in 2025, with 72 million passengers annually. From the above it follows that China will give more surprises.
Located on the Tiananmen Square plateau, where 70 years ago Mao Zedong, in 1949, proclaimed the Founding of the People’s Republic of China and having a privileged place a few meters from the place from where President Xi Jinping launched a virile defense speech patriotism and solemn message of unity around the Communist Party of China, in addition, witnessing the military power, for defense, of the Asian nation, should be classified as a shocking historical event.
The Protocolary ceremony full of solidarity between the people and their highest leader, as well as witnessing the impressive power built over seven decades. A disciplined and loyal military contingent displaying modern military weaponry. That of great achievements and advances. The development of the high-speed train, its new airport and the spatial structure among other aspects,
We must recognize the significance of the sites that UNESCO has designated as Cultural Heritage of Humanity and the World Wonders located in Chinese territory, such as the Great Wall, The Terracotta Warriors, The Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and many others. .,
It is impressive to note the visit of areas that were highly marginalized in the past such as Xinjiang or the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and today are immersed in dynamic national progress. Of course, it must be noted, on the other hand, that being in Xiamen, where one of the most impressive and important coastal maritime ports in China is located; the one with the largest international exports that covers 52 maritime routes, through 38 ports in 18 countries; the Quanzhou Maritime Museum, and the Kaiyuan and Qingjing temples.
No less surprising is the so-called Fujian (Xiamen) Pilot Free Trade Zone, which has been in operation since 2015, has an area of 43.78 square kilometers and was home to 30 thousand companies with more than 550 billion dollars of declared capital, there Emerging sectors and modern services are integrated into a development plan and continuous institutional innovation that improves the business environment.
Xiamen University, one of the best world-class universities; has signed cooperation agreements with more than 300 universities abroad.
Another place worth recognizing were the sumptuous facilities built for the leaders of the BRICS conference to meet, Gulangyu Island, considered the most beautiful garden in China, is located at the mouth of the Julongjian River; With an area of only 1.88 square kilometers, it is an international community with excellent cultural diversity and high quality of modern life. A prominent place is the ECO Zone, which is located a hundred kilometers from the capital of the People’s Republic of China with impressive facilities.
In Tianjin, the development achieved by the Asian nation in energy-saving technologies such as solar, wind, rainwater recycling, wastewater treatment, seawater desalination stands out, priority projects for the future development of Chinese cities. Tianjin is one of the four municipalities that, together with the twenty-two provinces, five autonomous regions and two special administrative regions, make up the People’s Republic of China.
In modern Tianjin, the government’s interest in harmoniously developing things related to culture is observed, and jointly between Singapore and Tianjin, the “Library of Friendship” was built with a printed and digital capacity that exceeds two million copies. . Robotic book search assistance is a great technological advance that surprises everyone and everyone.
On the other hand, China is interested in combating climate change as a new field of cooperation. It is worth remembering that at the 24th United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which has many importance in global climate governance because it could promote negotiations on the operating rules of the Paris Agreement. Currently, a series of negative consequences, such as rising global temperatures and extreme weather events, seriously threaten the sustainable development of human society and global ecosystems in the future.
For all of the above, which shows part of the history and current strength of the Chinese government, it is transcendental to observe that the nation is aimed at achieving new and decisive perspectives for its future, because in the current era of development and gigantic changes, such as President Xi Jinping assures: “To face common challenges and move towards a better future, economic and technological strength is required, but also cultural and civilizational strength.”
