(Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, December 17th) The 1st session of the 10th Council of All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) successfully completed all agendas and closed on the December 17th. He Ping was elected as the President of the ACJA.
The meeting deliberated and approved in principle the work report of the Standing Council of the 9th ACJA Council, considered and adopted the Constitution of All-China Journalists Association (Revised Draft), elected the Standing Council of the 10th Council, elected the president, vice-presidents and appointed the secretaries of the Secretariat.
Thirteen people, including Liu Zhengrong, Yan Xiaoming, Liu Siyang, Wang Yibiao, Yang Xiaowei, Ju Zhaohui, Zhang Yutang, Zhao Jingyun, Chen Songqing, Huang Changkai, Zhang Chunjiao, Li Xiaojun and Liu Cheng’An, were elected as ACJA vice-presidents.
The Standing Council appointed Liu Zhengrong, Zhang Baixin, Ji Xingxing, Tian Yuhong, Wu Jing and Su Rongcai as the secretaries of the Secretariat.
