The Provincial Journalists Association of Thailand (PJAT)has a history of 50 years. It covers journalists’ occupation in the region of 76 provinces except Bangkok,whose principle is to develop their careers and look after the welfare of the members as well as helping the public And alleviating all disasters in the country.

PJAT serves the media throughout the country.The members of the association include 2,600 journalists from radio, television and social media or new media. It has exchange relations in matters of career development, economy, society, and education and arts and culture with countries such as the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam , North Korea, Laos and Malaysia
