Formed in 1881, the Journalists’ Association of Serbia (UNS) is one of the oldest professional journalistic organizations in the world. From its foundation, UNS has aimed to improve conditions for journalism in Serbia, defend freedom of expression, assist and protect journalists, and strengthen solidarity in the profession.
