The All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Union of Journalists” (RUJ) is a membership-based non-political association established to carry out activities to protect the interests of Russian journalists (§ 1.1 of the RUJ Charter).
RUJ has its branches in all regions of Russia with total amount of members over 70,000. RUJ is a full member of IFJ and EFJ.
